The golden-crowned kinglet is a member of the passerine family (sparrows) and one of the smallest of its kind. This image was captured during the large snowstorm in Snoqualmie Valley in February of 2019. Birds of many kinds were driven from higher elevations during this storm for a rare treat to be framed by beautiful snow fall.
